Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on July 20, 2021. She is the station's Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position, Fisher is responsible for covering everything including NASA's new Space Force to commercial space business and the emergence of space tourism. Kristin's parents are each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now been an White House reporter for FOX News, covering Biden and Trump Administrations' positions in space matters. She also covered the 2020 presidential campaign and the efforts of two administrations in fighting the coronavirus. Former president Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan for a restricted trip. Kristin was a local television reporter in Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded an Emmy Award for her work as a "one-man-band" reporter before being hired by CBS in 2015. Kristin started Field Mouse Films with her expertise behind the camera in the year 2014. Field Mouse Films specialized in making documentary films for corporate clients which included Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has an Bachelor of Science in Journalism which she obtained from Boston University. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband, and their three-year old daughter.
